Ayala first started making jewelry to sell in the 1980s. Her designs were distinct and unusual compared to other jewelry designers who primarily used precious metals such as gold and silver. In addition, using materials such as fabrics, beads, plaster, wood, and other materials found along the way gave Ayala a distinct advantage.

Ayala continues to be inspired by her surroundings and constantly comes up with new materials and ideas for her creations. For many years Ayala had a shop in Tel Aviv which was recently relocated to become part of her studio in Givatayim. Ayala Bar jewelry is available to see and purchase at our shop.
